The perfect hostess ! Showered, hair pulled back, no lipstick, no mascara, pinny wearing and exhausted. Very photogenic !
But always up for a giggle and a good old belly laugh !
We have some wine making enthusiasts among our friends. I don't drink alcohol (anymore), but I take great pleasure from Richard's wine labels.
It's all I can do to show my appreciation for their unconditional friendship, stuff them with homemade fayre.

Wish I had a Dining Room large enough to seat a big family gathering! With the numbers of grandchildren growing, it's a struggle to fit everyone in. This time of year is very much one for family gatherings though. Good times!

DeleteWe don't have a large dining area, but pushing sofas and other furniture aside helps.
Unfortunately our family from Belgium couldn't be here for Christmas, so we make our friends our family. :)
What a lovely lot of family and friends you have around your table, our table is set just for three but it can be extended which is good. I get the giggles as well, especially if wine is involved x
